Samuel Eto'o returns to Cameroon, Says Super Eagles will fall

Former Cameroonian
poacher and all time highest goalscorer of Cameroon, Samuel Eto'o Fills
has taken advantage of the International break to return back to his
native country Cameroon ahead of the September 1 and September 4 World
Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
Eto'o
who played 118 times and scored 56 goals for the national in 17 years,
also played in the 1998, 2002, 2010 and 2014 World Cups held in France,
Japan/Korea, South Africa and Brazil respectively.
Eto'o who joined Alatyaspor
of Turkey in 2015 and has already scored 36 goals in 59 appearances for
the Turkish side is in Yaounde, Cameroon to drum support for the
Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, as well as mediate in the current fracas
in FECAFOOT.
Cameroon
need to pick four points from the two-legged fixtures against Nigeria
to have any hope of hoisting their flag in Russia in 2018.
Cameroon
missed the 2006 World Cup stagged in Germany after they were drawn in
Group 3 of the qualifying campaign which also had Ivory Coast, Egypt,
Libya, Sudan and Benin.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will arrive Nigeria on Thursday for the September 1 cracker which comes up at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo by 5pm Local Time.
